The Tiruttani – Cherukkanur TWAD Project is a major water infrastructure initiative aimed at enhancing potable water availability to rural and semi-urban communities. This project involves the design, construction, and commissioning of a modernized water distribution network to ensure continuous and safe water supply to multiple habitations under TWAD jurisdiction.
To improve water supply reliability for households and institutions across the Tiruttani–Cherukkanur region.
To enhance water quality and pressure through upgraded infrastructure.
To support sustainable resource management through efficient pumping and distribution systems.
Once completed, the project will provide a sustainable and high-quality water supply system, benefitting multiple habitations. It supports TWAD’s mission of ensuring safe, equitable, and continuous water access for all communities across Tamil Nadu.
